Coca-Cola Australia’s Community Grants support local community projects and programs. Our aim is to fund innovative local projects that will make a difference to the lives of Australian young people. Community Grants are one-off grants of approximately $10,000.

Some of the current 2008 programs receiving funding from CCAF include:

The Sunrise Foundation (Victoria)

Sunrise Foundation’s ‘Headsmart’ Program is designed to increase young people’s knowledge of depression and assist in preventative education programs. The Sunrise Foundation will deliver three purpose-built Head Smart programs in 2008.

Vision Australia Illawarra Technology & Training Program (NSW)

The Illawarra Technology and Training Program enables Illawarra blind or low vision residents access to the latest adaptive technology and training to assist them in developing new skills which open up pathways to employment and independent living.

Cool Camps Bridgewater Police Citizens Youth Club, TAS

The Cool Camps have been developed to build self esteem through challenge and achievement while supporting and mentoring ‘at risk’ young people as a way of enacting positive change and promoting positive networks.

Riding for the Disabled Association (WA)

The ‘Paddock Reticulation Project’, is a program designed to house more horses which will result in allowing more riders into the Riding for Disabled programs. Horse riding is a good source of exercise for disabled youth and provides social networking for all participants, resulting in increased self esteem and confidence.
