The Coca-Cola Australia Foundation (CCAF) is an independent charitable trust devoted to improving the lives of marginalised young people in Australia. Established in 2000, the Foundation provides support to many worthy organisations, projects and initiatives that have helped Australia’s young people realise their potential.
The Coca-Cola Australia Foundation funding targets two core areas:
- Education - providing and enhancing basic skills to assist young people in improving their day-to-day lives; and
- Leadership - enabling young people to develop confidence and leadership skills for their future.
Within the core areas of education and leadership, projects are selected based on successfully finding innovative ways to address the following two areas:
- Wellbeing - promoting the physical fitness, nutrition education and social wellbeing of young people; and
- The Environment - promoting the sustainability of the environment for future generations of young people.
Approximately $1,000,000 in funding is provided annually to support programmes across two tiers:
- National Grants - which fund projects of one to three years in length drawing on approximately 70% of total funding, and
- Community Grants - funding smaller projects less than one year in length.
Today, the Coca-Cola Australia Foundation actively supports fantastic work across the country. Click here to learn more about the Foundation's 2008 National Partners, or here to learn more about some of our Community Partners.
