Please note, DI reference values are based on an average male/female adult diets and do not necessarily relate to the needs of children. Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) have directed food and beverage manufacturers to use the one value for an average adult, rather than separate figures for each age group. According to FSANZ, to incorporate reference values for these age groups, where they exist, would be complex, costly and impractical.

The %DI values that appear on our labels are based on an average adult diet providing 8700kJ. Your individual DI will depend on your gender, weight, age and activity levels.
